How to Request Deletion:
- In-App: Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account
- Email: Send a request to support@chatoree.in from your registered email with subject "Delete My Account"
- Web Form: Visit chatoree.in/delete-account and submit the deletion request form
Data That Will Be Permanently Deleted:
- Profile information (name, email, phone number)
- Profile photo and username
- Saved delivery addresses
- Order history and preferences
- Reviews and ratings submitted by you
- Saved payment methods (card tokens)
- App preferences and settings
- Push notification tokens
Data That May Be Retained:
- Transaction records (7 years - required by Indian tax laws)
- Invoice and payment records (7 years - legal compliance)
- Communications related to disputes (until resolution + 1 year)
- Anonymized/aggregated analytics data (non-identifiable)
Processing Time: Account deletion requests are processed within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.
