10. Account & Data Deletion

How to Request Deletion:

• In-App: Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account
• Email: Send a request to support@chatoree.in from your registered email with subject "Delete My Account"
• Web Form: Visit chatoree.in/delete-account and submit the deletion request form

Data That Will Be Permanently Deleted:

• Profile information (name, email, phone number)
• Profile photo and username
• Saved delivery addresses
• Order history and preferences
• Reviews and ratings submitted by you
• Saved payment methods (card tokens)
• App preferences and settings
• Push notification tokens

Data That May Be Retained:

• Transaction records (7 years - required by Indian tax laws)
• Invoice and payment records (7 years - legal compliance)
• Communications related to disputes (until resolution + 1 year)
• Anonymized/aggregated analytics data (non-identifiable)

Processing Time: Account deletion requests are processed within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.
