Request permanent deletion of your account and associated data

How to Delete Your Account

In-App Deletion (Recommended)

Open Chatoree App → Profile → Settings → Delete Account → Confirm

Via Email Request

Send email to support@chatoree.in with subject "Delete My Account" from your registered email

Using Form Below

Fill the deletion request form at the bottom of this page

✓ Data That Will Be Permanently Deleted

Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
Profile photo and username
Saved delivery addresses
Order history and preferences
Reviews and ratings you've submitted
Saved payment methods (card tokens)
App preferences and settings
Push notification tokens

⏳ Data That May Be Retained

Transaction records (required by law for tax/accounting - 7 years)
Invoice and payment records (legal compliance - 7 years)
Communications related to disputes (until resolution + 1 year)
Anonymized/aggregated analytics data (non-identifiable)

📋 Legal Requirement: As per Indian tax laws and Information Technology Act, certain financial records must be retained for 7 years. This data is stored securely and not used for marketing purposes.

Once your account is deleted, all your data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Any pending orders will be cancelled.
